Last Monday, HPK had their annual Thanksgiving Feast. The 3K dressed as Indians, the 4K dressed as turkeys, and the 5K dressed as Pilgrims. All the children "marched" into the fellowship hall and had their very own feast- Chick-Fil-A chicken fingers, green beans, sweet potatoes, and pumpkin bread (made by the 4K classes). Some of the teachers even dressed up and the kids had a great time telling what they were thankful for. Hazel said she was thankful for Mrs. Martin, her teacher. (Mrs. Martin, I hope you are reading this) They spent the whole week before talking about the history of Thanksgiving. Hazel said the Indians taught the Pilgrims how to grow food and kill animals for food and the Pilgrims taught the Indians about Jesus. I am so thankful for these moments in her life, because she is growing up way too fast for me!
Hazel and Allie being silly turkeys
The 5K pilgrims- I wonder if the teacher told them to look sad?
