Pray for me this Week!!!!!!!!!!

Well, me, Trena & Missy enjoyed a fabulous weekend at the beach. I really needed some time with the girls- no kids and husbands---yah!!! Thanks Steve for keeping the girls all weekend and letting me spend all your money!!!!

But, reality hit when I got home on Sunday afternoon and Steve had already left for Brazil. He will be over there all week for week and I didn't even get to see him before he left! And of all weeks for him to be gone- There is parent orientation at Hazel's school tonight, Open House at Hazel's school on Tuesday and her first day of 4k on Wednesday morning and Thursday night....in the words of Steve Spurrier..."it's time for Carolina Football!!!!!!! I can't wait. Steve will be meeting me at the game after a 12 hour plane ride from Brazil.

So, I have a busy week with the girls by myself and school starting and everything else....Please keep me in your prayers! I'll let you guys know how it goes

Lucy is 3!!!!!

Our neighbor and one of our best friends, Lucy, turned 3 today. She had an adorable princess tea party at Top Hat Special Teas, a really neat tea room in town. It was the perfect setting for the young girls to have their afternoon tea. The girls got dressed up in their finest gowns complete with makeup and jewelry and had a fashion show on the runway. They also sang "Princess Karaoke" if there is such a thing. For their tea they had a delicious iced strawberry tea, finger sandwiches, fruit, brownies, cupcakes, and scones. All the girls seemed to enjoy the food. And of course, any birthday party would not be complete without presents and birthday cake. Here are some pictures from our tea party this afternoon.

Busy (and sickly) week

Well I haven't had a whole lot to post about, but not because we haven't been busy. I've been trying to get BTS shopping done. Who knew that a preschooler would have to have so many supplies? Also, the stomach bug has hit 3 out of the 4 of us...Steve watch out, it's coming for you! I won't let you dodge it this time.

We went bowling with some friends on Tuesday but my new camera did not have a memory card in it, so my pictures got erased somehow. It was quite an experience. We went with Mrs. Katie, Caitlyn, Cooper & Cole and Mrs. Britton, Hampton, John Hudson, Sullivan & Anna Claire. And of course me with hazel and Eliza and Hazel's friend Kennedy. At Cici's pizza, I could see all the people staring at all of us like we were crazy for having that many kids. It did get a little chaotic, but the kids had lots of fun!

I can't believe school is about to start the 27th and my little baby will be starting 4k...where does the time go? She is super excited about going back to school and can't wait to meet her teacher. I think she is going to have a great year. She better with the $107.00 worth of school supplies I had to buy!!!!

Myrtle Waves

Last Friday the girls and I decided to go to Myrtle Waves for the day. I have been telling Hazel that I would take her before school started back, so I had to keep my promise. We brought along Courtney & Amber (my neices) and Mason (my nephew). The kids had a blast and Hazel was not scared to ride any of the slides by herself. I even got to ride a couple of them while Eliza was sleeping.

10 months and MOBILE

Eliza turned 10 months yesterday and she is full of energy. She wants to walk so badly, but just isn't quite there. She has started climbing EVERYTHING. I remember Hazel doing this (still does) and it really got on my nerves. I had to watch her every minute. Eliza is such a happy baby and is very content with just about everything. She loves taking baths and swimming in the pool. She eats about anything she wants, and she LOVES strawberries. She has 10 teeth and knows how to use them! She also squeals in delight and anger. It is SO LOUD that I'm ashamed to take her anywhere, but its only a phase (I hope). I think that Little E will be walking very soon and a whole new perspective on the world will be hers.

Here are some pictures of her yesterday climbing the stairs and up on Nana's fireplace

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Sunday was Steve's birthday and after we got home that evening from the mountains, Hazel wanted to get Daddy a cake. Neither Steve or Hazel like birthday cake, so Hazel picked Daddy out a cookie cake. We also picked up chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. (As you can see I wasn't counting calories this weekend) Hazel said that we had to get 33 candles to put on the cake and so we did and almost burned down the house! Just Kidding. It's hard to believe my hubby is 33! I used to think that was old. Well, I only have a few years and I'll be there too.

Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you!

Mountain Weekend 2008

Well, we and some close friends have now started a tradition of going to the mountains in Pigeon Forge, TN one weekend during the summer for some much needed "adult time." We joined Ken & Trena and Steve (Ateyeh) and Missy again this year for one fun weekend without any crying or whinning. We started out the weekend on Friday at Dollywood and eating at a great restuarant called Bullfish Grill. The filet and cajun shrimp was delicious along with the fried green tomatoes topped with goat cheese. Yummy! Saturday we hung out at the pool with LOTS of adult beverages and laughed and laughed some more. Saturday night the guys cooked Low Country Broil- another Yummy! We all enjoyed the hot tub, pool table, air hockey and foosball in our cabin. Sunday we headed home refreshed and ready to see our beautiful children. Can' t wait until girls weekend at the beach in 3 weeks!
